Will complete ABSENCE of PH harm my betta?

no joke, my water has NO PH in it, I have no idea why, but it just doesn't. I know they like between 5-7, and actually enjoy a little more acidity, but mine is 0 D: will this harm him? he is acting sortof odd and I'm wondering if this is the cause.... are there any plants or natural items I could add to raise it?
