Guy Question; Age Difference?

So I kinda like this guy, its sortof a school-girl kind of crush, we are still getting to know each other and stuff but he is 6 years older than me. He's sweet and cute but I'm worried about our age difference and I am not sure what to do because all of my friends are dating guys that are within 2 years apart. I'm not really sure what to do but please provide me with any advice you might have thanks!
