Did i get my first period and if i did what color should your first period be?

ok so ive had pretty bad stomach cramps and have been pretty moody for the past few days. i was over at my friends house earlier and felt something sortof slowly "coming out". when i got home i went to the bathroom there was a really big brown stain on mu underwear and then some light reddish small spots. since then the pink color has been coming out and i thought your period was supposed to be a brownish red. could the big brown stain have been poop?!?!?!
