Astro A40 or turtle beach DX11 or steelseries?

i currently have an astro a40 ive had it for a few years now and im kindof getting tired of it, the mic is crazy sensitive so it sounds like im screaming for people on the other end, and i think my left speaker is dying because it doesent sound as loud as the right side. now that turtle beach has optical sound available i figure it would be better than the X41's. im also sortof considering steelseries, any thoughts?
