I'm Atheist, but my gf is spiritual (not religious) and we're having problems?

My understanding of the natural world is grounded in science. When I think of energy, I'm thinking potential/kinetic. My girlfriend on the other hand has an additional understanding of *energy,* the kind that's not grounded in any real science, which obviously means I struggle to understand wtf she's talking about. This causes frequent friction b/c she thinks I don't understand her (you know what happens after you have that conversation). She looks at a plant and she believes it's got negative or positive energy, while I look at a plant and I'm thinking photosynthesis, transpiration, nutrients, and the buck kinda stops there. I don't see positive or negative energy. I'm spiritual in a Dawkinian sense, in that I can marvel at the "miracle" of life and the wonders of the universe, and that's pretty much it. My gf thinks certain plants absorb the negative energy in your house(wtf?). And no, she's not talking about the fact that they release oxygen and absorb CO2. It took 6 yrs to find someone like her, among the millions of shitty girls out there so I do feel like the luckiest guy in the world and yes, she's extremely hot too (extremely). I sortof wish I was spiritual as she was so I could *get* her, but I'm not. So, anyone understand wth I'm talking about? Any advice? And are there any Atheist girls out there who are equally perturbed as I am b/c they have my world view?
