I'm unsure about my career, what are some interesting careers that would suit me?

I've always wanted to go to medical school, but my grades aren't as good as it used to be. So I'm thinking about becoming an optimetrist now, but I think its getting overloaded? I'm really interested in science, not nessecarily only health. Also thought about forensics but its extremely hard to get into, lots just become technicians. Also interested in aviation, but again not many achieve this. I've ran out of ideas...I would love to become a doctor, because I'll be able to help people and have a stable job. But I don't really like the lifestyle. I need some freedom and easy hours in what I'm doing. Would archaelogy be good? I heard its competitive as well and lots just end up working in museums. I don't want to be one of those people. Im ready to work hard in school and stuff like that, I get above average grades but not the best all the time. What would you recommend?
